How do I customise Showcase page template as my homepage?

    How is it possible that the showcase page template on Twenty Eleven has such a terrible display for previous posts after the featured posts? My homepage looks terrible, and I really need your help. How can I fix it so that the posts appear as summaries with thumbnail images, not this terrible list display?

    It looks like you selected a static front page, but have not yet assigned a posts page – that could be throwing things off. Can you try assigning your “Blog Archives” placeholder page to your posts in your settings in the Customizer’s “Front page” panel, and let me know how it goes?
