How do I de-activate an incorrect url address?
-
Hello. I have a blog http://www.hometownperch.com or http://www.hometownperch.wordpress.com. Whenever I log in and move about the site (dashboard, etc) it defaults and sends me to http://hometownperchdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/. Is there a way to deactivate the “dotcom” version? It gets confusing and I sometimes find myself accidentally writing a post on the wrong version.
Thank you for your help.

There are a couple of options:
1. Hide the blog or change the order your blogs appear in your “My Blogs” page at https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs. Check out http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ for more information.2. You can delete the blog in your blog Tools at http://hometownperchdotcom.wordpress.comwp-admin/tools.php. Deleting a blog is permanent so you won’t be able to recover it if you change your mind. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ for more info.
