How do I deactivate a theme I activated by mistake?
-
Hi,
While looking for the right theme to use on my new blog, I accidentally clicked on the “Activate” button in one of the themes I was reviewing, and of course, it got active on my blog. Now when I go to themes it opens the theme page, and I can’t seem to find where I can delete this theme and upload a new theme which is the one I actually want.
Help please!
Thanks,
MD

You simple select and activate another theme of your own choice and it will replace the theme you have now > Appearance > Themes

I don’t want any other free theme that can be activated from the theme’s demo page, I bought and downloaded a premium theme, and I have the theme on a zip file.

If you purchased a premium theme from WordPress.com see here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/premium-themes/#how-to-get-a-premium-theme

If you purchased a theme from any other source you cannot use it on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. There is no FTP access to our blogs and we cannot upload any third party themes at all. The only themes we can use are the ones found here > Appearance > Themes
