How do I decrease space between items on my sidebar?

I am trying to decrease the amount of space between the images and my blogroll on the sidebar of my blog. I am using Modularity Lite and would appreciate any feedback!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I mean the space between the “Print Recipes” image and the “Dish is on Facebook” image. Also the space between the “Dish is on Facebook” image and the “My Dish On” list…and so on. Ideally I’d like maybe half of the space inbetween those items but I’m not sure if that’s possible. I played with firebug but couldn’t figure anything out.

This isn’t nessesarily meant to do with decreasing the size, but I don’t think I could find another topic with sidebars(unless I’d make a new one, but oh well).
How do I make the widgets bigger? Because some widgets I can only see practically half of them…. -

Some widgets appear cut because their size exceeds the maximum width of sidebars.
You can find the sidebar width of your theme here:

You need to resize these banners, or get codes with the appropriate width. -

I don’t have any problems with my widgets cutting off but I have found that my images are being cut off. Any suggestions on that? See here:
