How do I delete a blog or make it inactive?

    I created a one page blog in November last year. Since then I have created a new blog with pages and it is self hosted and I have purchased a domain name. When i log in I can see both blogs and no longer require the post published last year. Is there a way to delete the original blog/post. It is confusing for people who want to find me.

    The easiest would be to set the old blog to private under Settings>Reading in the dashboard. That way only you can see it.

    If you really want to delete it completely, instructions can be found at http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ Make certain you are sure about doing this as it cannot be reversed and you will not be able to use that blog address again at a later stage.
