How do I delete a 'follow' subscription?

Add topic to favorites
I have gone to: reader = blogs I follow = edit list … it shows the blog (I think it is an rss) that I want to unsubscribe from. I have clicked the grey X multiple times, but each time, the ‘blog’ automatically resubscribes and shows back up in my list! ?? :/ Please advise as this is driving me crazy… Thanks!

If you visit the blog and click the “unfollow” link on the Admin bar does that work? Also note that if you did not log out and clear your browser cache and cookies after you clicked the “X” then you are probably viewing a cached copy. http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

P.S. You can also click the “unsubscribe” link on the emails of the posts you receive.

Hi timethief and thank you for your response. When I visit the blog, there is no unfollow link, as a matter of fact, I do not think it is a wordpress site. Here is the URL to it: http://calvertmemorial.com/ClintonArea/ … and I do not receive emails from it. I’ll try to clean out my cache…

Oh, yes I do receive emails, I forgot beings it has been awhile since the last. :/

You are correct. That’s not a WordPress.com blog. If you aren’t receiving a flood of email from it then that’s a good thing. I’ve flagged this thread for Staff to take a look at why you can’t “unfollow” it.

Thank you! I cleaned out cache and reloaded and see this:

UGH! I did *not* follow 3 minutes ago LOL I deleted 4 minutes ago! :/
Hopefully Staff will be able to help me with this little (but annoying) glitch.

Not to worry ie. don’t sweat the small stuff please. Staff will deal with this when they can. Please just wait patiently for them to assist you.

I don’t see the subscription under your account. Did you remove it?

Hello macmanx,
Yes I did finally get it removed. While I could not delete it through Reader, it was able to be deleted through Dashboard > Blogs I Follow :D
