How do I delete a mistakenly created blog, created mistakenly under my site instead of a completely

Hi. I am trying to create a new WP website for my husband. I mistakenly created it as a blog under my own site. I am trying to delete JUST this blog (it has nothing in it). I want to use the same name, his name, in his own WP site once I delete it from mine. How do I do this? I want to keep my site as is without his blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do not delete it as deleted URLs cannot be registered again for 2 years.
Separate accounts – Separate blogs
You log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies, and then without logging in again, you register another username account under a different email address.
You log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and log in under the old username account.
Add the new username account as an Admin https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/ to the blog you want to transfer to it.
Lastly, you transfer the blog to the new username account. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
