How do I delete a page and its URL
-
Hello, I used this blog to promote a dance series with other dance artists. The page is no longer of use, but we keep it as some kind of archive. My problem is that when I Google my name, the first thing that pops up is my page on the FOUD series blog that we created. This page is not useful to me and I tried to delete it, not the entire blog, but just my page. It is no longer in the pages of the blog, so there is no way for me to access it, but if I search my name on Google it is still there only with an empty Error 404 page.
What do I do? How do I get rid of this web address? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi foundseries,
You can let Google know the link is outdated and should be removed from search results via this site: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals?pli=1
I would also suggest you set your privacy settings for the blog to “Discourage search engines from indexing the site,” or possibly “I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose” as described here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
With both of these you should see the results disappear after some time, though note not all requests of this nature are successful. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions. Happy reverse SEO’ing!

@ foundseries,
This page is not useful to me and I tried to delete it, not the entire blog, but just my page.
It is very simple to delete a static page. See the Trash support page for more information. Just move the page to trash, and then either wait 30 days for it to be deleted, or go to trash and delete it.
It is no longer in the pages of the blog, so there is no way for me to access it, but if I search my name on Google it is still there only with an empty Error 404 page.

https://foundseries.wordpress.com/artistesartists/thierry-huard/The page Thierry HUARD, a child of “Artistes/Artists,” is still in the pages of the blog. It has not been deleted, or even moved to trash.

Are you referring to a different static page? Because the page you indicated shouldn’t cause a 404 error.
