How do I delete a wordpress site. I believe it must be an old version as the interface doesn’t look like the current version

    Please advise how to delete a wordpress site. I think it is an old version and I can not find a ‘delete’ option anywhere in Settings or elsewhere.

    Only the owner can delete his website(s). You are logged in as kate2731, that account is only a few hours old and has no website. You must log out and log in again to the account conencted to your site. If you lost access to that account, see instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

    Thank you. But I didn’t set up this WordPress site. One of my staff members did who is no longer with the company. I can get into it (using her log in details), but it seems to be an old version. There is no ‘delete’ button.

    The email address the account was set up with, no longer exists. I’m not sure what else to do?

    What’s the site address for that website? If the site was hosted on WordPress.com servers, there should be a delete option for admin users. If the site is not hosted at WordPress.com but uses WordPress software, the process would be different.
