How do I delete an accout?

    I am in way over my head with this blog technology, and I want to delete my account.
    I’ve only made one test post so far, with all text, no photos or videos.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello,

    Accounts can only be deactivated.

    This is stop others from signing up using the same user account and impersonating the user. Also, since many other websites or services created by Automattic (the company that runs wordpress.com) uses wordpress.com account. Hence, users are allowed to deactivate their accounts, but not delete.
