How do I delete an email follower

  Hi,

  I have an email follower who is dead by now. How do I delete his email address from my followers list, so that the new posts are not sent to his address any more. And a person wants to be deleted from my list as she is not interested any more in the subject.

  Please post the email address of the deceased person here and the software will redact it ie. hide it so only Staff can view it. Then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help.   Your followers control their own subscriptions – you don’t and can’t do this for them. Here are brief instructions for unsubscribing from a blog if the person has a WordPress.com username account:

  1. click the “unsubscribe” link on the emails of the posts received at the very bottom of the emails.
  2. go here > http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/ locate and click the “x” next to any blog there to unfollow it and no longer receive posts in the Reader or by email.
  3. go to the blog in question and click the unfollow/follow link on your Admin bar.

  If the susbcriber does not have a WordPress.com username account then 1. applies.
  1. click the “unsubscribe” link on the emails of the posts received at the very bottom of the emails.

  This is done, @imantlitzderliebe .

  Also, if someone has access to that email address they can block all emails using a link from any subscription notification.
