I have a current blog.
I have a blog started years ago but never used.
I want to get rid of the old blog because people get on that by mistake.
Can I delete that old blog? There is nothing on it except my name which I don’t want on it.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are referring to another free hosted WordPress.com blog, provided you are logged in under the Admin username account that registered the blog in question you can delete any blog registered under that username by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
After you do that if you cannot locate a verification email, look in your email client spam/junk mail filter for the email with the blog deletion verification link in it and click that link. If clicking it does not work then copy and paste the link into your upper browser bar and click.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled. If you delete a blog URL it can not be used by you or by anyone else again. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

P.S. Why don’t you make that blog private instead of deleting it and use it as a backup site and for testing themes, widgets, etc. ?

What I am talking about is this….I started a blog page yrs ago and did not use it.
Apparently I logged in using same name to start the blog I am using.
When you hover over the avatar in upper r corner of new log page you can see names of both blogs.
What I want to do is delete that other name, that old blog that isn’t being used, but not my blog that I am using. -
