How do I delete an old, irrelevant blog if my account is disabled?
-
I need to delete this old blog from a previous username that I made in college. Whenever I search my name in Google, the pictures and writings show up and it’s just not how I want to represent myself in the professional world. Unfortunately, my account is disabled because it was made years ago. Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your best bet is to use the Account Recovery form to regain access.

I am having the same problem!
The thing is I have another blog but I cannot access the primary email linked to that blog account because it was deleted. How can I delete my blog?

Hi milagregoire,
I’d suggest looking at the same link mentioned above to get it sorted out using the Account Recovery form.
Let me know if that works!

I can’t get into the email that was associated with this account, therefore I do not have the transaction ID or activation url in order to recover it. Is there anything else I can do? I’ve looked to speak with a WordPress customer service rep on the phone but I can’t seem to find a number anywhere.

Hi silkmagblog,
I’ve tagged this post with modlook so that a WordPress staff member can chime in on how best to proceed.
Thanks for your patience!

Neither of you provided a link to the site you’re trying to access. We can’t help if you don’t provide us with all relevant information.
That said, only the verified owner of a site can delete it, so if you’re not able to provide any of the verification info required by the account recovery form, we won’t be able to help you. We don’t make any exceptions in this regard.

If you bought an upgrade for the site in the past you can also get the transaction ID directly from PayPal or from your bank statement. You don’t need access to the email address to retrieve that information.
