How do I delete auto- duplicated page titles?

    I only started using WordPress last week to build a new web site, which I’ve now almost done. The theme I’m using has page titles at the top which are fine but I can’t find out how to get rid of the page titles underneath which appeared in duplicate automatically underneath.

    I did some tinkering and found out I could delete them but that also killed off the themed page titles I want to keep. Gggrrr!

    I saw on past forums there is a solution ( .page .post-info h1 { display: none; } )
    BUT I have no idea what CSS code is – not a thing.

    I’m not afraid of having a go but would need step by step instructions from go to end if any kind and gifted guru could help.

    I’ve read elsewhere there are plug-ins that do the job but can only be accessed if I’m on a business level which I’m not…just a humble privateer.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi, if you are talking about like on the front page where it says “home” beneath the header image, that can be done with custom CSS, which is a feature of the WordPress.com Premium and Business plans.

    If you decide to upgrade, this would be the custom CSS that would be required. It will remove the page titles from all static pages you create.

    .page .entry-header .entry-title {
      display: none;
    }

    I did upgrade (for other reasons) and your solution worked without any hitches at all. Many thanks!
