I have same issue as djbank. I have 2 blogs:
1) http://davidkanigan.wordpress.com
2) http://testdmk.wordpress.comI want to delete #2 – testdmk. How do I do so?

Hello there,
Provided you provide the URLs, Staff can do this for you. I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. -
@davidkanigan
Your issue is a different one that you can deal with all on your own.See here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ Note there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. A verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/You may want to change the visibility setting on http://testdmk.wordpress.com and use that blog as a backup blog or a test blog. See option 3 here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ to change your blog visibility setting to private.

Thank you. I figured it out using http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/. Thanks for your help

One other question. When I reply to Follower comments on http://davidkanigan.wordpress.com (my main blog), the email address references my other site (http://testdmkgmail.com) even after I deleted it. Any ideas on how I can get it to reference my existing blog?

You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your posts, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.Try the change here first > http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/

Thanks for the quick response. I’m sorry. I wasn’t clear. The email “connection” is fine. The label for the comments uses the name for the other blog (testdmkgmail) instead of the Profile Name for me: David Kanigan.
this is what it says:

Still having same problem. When I reply to comments directly from GMail box, the author should be “David Kanigan” and not “testdmkgmail.” Referenced e-mail address is correct. URL is incorrect. See below. Can you help?
New comment on your post “Monday Morning Wake-up Call: “Not Yet!””
Author : testdmkgmail (IP: 209.85.212.169 , mail-wi0-f169.google.com)
E-mail : (email visible only to moderators and staff)
URL : http://testdmkgmail.wordpress.com

@djbank, I’ve gone ahead and removed your old WordPress.org site for you. You shouldn’t be seeing it any longer.
@davidkanigan, the two blogs which you’re speaking of are on two different accounts, which means they’re associated with two different email addresses. You may have forwarders set up which are allowing messages to come in to the same inbox, but if you reply from the incorrect one then that will result in the recipient getting a message as you’re describing, saying it’s from the wrong blog.

Thank you. Unfortunately, everything is going to my old yahoo address which is no longer the email of record at my WP blog davidkanigan.com. My email should be my gmail address today. Yet, all comments, likes, moderates are going to the old address. Can you reset my blog to have all communications directed to my gmail address?
-
Heya,
If you are no longer using that address, you can combine your two blogs into the one account which uses your correct email address. Unfortunately I cannot do that for you as there are security concerns at stake.
We have a help article which will walk you through how to do so right here:
