How do i delete my account?

I do not nor did i ever want a wordpress blog account my teacher in college made me make this blog and now I have no idea how to get rid of it.
sorry if this is a stupid question, but i never used this thing and so i have no idea what i’m doing.
I’m incredibly uncomfortable with how this blog I made over a year ago is the first thing that comes up when I type my name into Google.

Blogs here can be deleted, but the account itself cannot: http://support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/ .
To delete the blog, see this: http://support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/ .
It will take approximately 3-6 months for your blog to disappear from Google and the other search engines.

Well that’s great. The worst part about this is that i dropped the course about 4 weeks in.
i can’t remember the teacher’s name, so i can’t even send her hate mail.

You can, if you verify the blog with Google and then sign up for a google webmaster account (another account… just what you wanted) request that google remove the URL’s from their databases. Typically that takes anywhere from a week to 4 weeks to happen.
Deleting the blog will get things underway for you though.
