How do I delete my account?

    I really don’t like my username anymore and I want to be able to do a different one. It’s not allowing me to change my username either. I rather delete my account so I can start a new one (if I choose to continue with wordpress. I’m still not even sure if I want to). Would anyone know how I can do this?

    You can change both your WordPress.com account username (the name you use to login) and your display name (the name that is seen on your posts and comments).

    If you want to change your display name, go to your My Profile page and enter your new name under Public Display Name. Click Save Profile Details.

    If you want to change your username, access your Account Settings and enter the new username you’d like under Username. In the box Confirm Username that appears, enter your new username again. The next step will allow you to change or create a matching blog address. You can also select “No, don’t create a matching address,” to just change your username.

    Keep in mind that once you change your username, you won’t be able to change it back and the old name will be unavailable.
