how do I delete my current account and add a new one under the same email

I am trying to delete the wordpress I opened a few years ago and start a new one and I have no idea how to do it. This site is extremely confusing

If you would like to continue using the same email address, you can delete your old site, and then create a new site using your current WordPress account.
In order to delete your old site, follow the instructions found here:
After you delete your old site, you will still have your WordPress account under your email address. You can then create your new site using that account as long as the new site does not have the same URL as the one you deleted. You can use this article to get the new one started:
