How do I delete my gravatar?

  I want to delete my gravatar account, but can’t find any option on their page.

  How do I proceed?

  Besides: I find it quite irritating that another relevant question considering Gravatar is closed to new answers although marked as unsolved. How is that?

  Gravatar accounts cannot be deleted. You can however make it seemingly disappear. Go to this link, http://en.gravatar.com/site/faq/#answer-1-7 , and then click on “please delete my account” and it will explain how to make your account invisible.

  The link you referenced is from 2009. Staff commonly closes old threads, especially if they have not had any activity in a long time. It’s not a problem though, just start a new topic if you need to.
