How do I delete my site from the ‘Sites’ listing on wordpress.com
-
We’ve been granted admin access to the selected website [https://uspaceusa.com/]. We require access still but I need the website removing from my https://wordpress.com/me account and also my blog list here https://dashboard.wordpress.com/ . I do not want this website [https://uspaceusa.com/] to be connect to my WordPress account. I cannot see any option to remove the website from these lists. Jetpack is not installed. Please can someone help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can remove the site from your My Profile page, by clicking the X next to the site in the Profile Links section. https://wordpress.com/support/manage-my-profile/#profile-links
From the dashboard, as long as you are not the site owner, you should be able to remove yourself by clicking the “Leave blog” link that appears when you hover your mouse over the site address. https://wordpress.com/support/invite-people/#leave-a-site-or-blog
Post back here if you need further help.

Hey @2020testjj. Thank you for the reply and details. This is the odd thing, I do not have the option when hovering over the site address. I just have what is shown in the screenshot here https://snipboard.io/ITortL.jpg
I do not know your role here exactly, but can you remove my account completely?
We’ve even deleted the user account from the website, but yet it still shows.
Thank you

I’m a forum volunteer and don’t have such access.
You say this site uspaceusa.com is not connected by Jetpack to your WordPress.com account?
Since I don’t want to give you incorrect information, I’ve flagged your thread for staff assistance. It may be awhile before they get to this thread, but please don’t bump it by adding additional replies. That pushes your thread down in their queue. Thanks.

Backpedaling for a moment. Have you tried this?

Thank you again @2020testjj . We do not have access or use Jetpack for our own account. I have asked the website admin, who originally invited me and granted me access, to remove our account completely, as they might have added us via their WordPress/Jetpack account, which has triggered this link.
I looked over the above link. Since we removed the account from the website we no longer have the option to login. We couldn’t see the Jetpack plugin though.

Hi @hello96ff8a1a59!
It looks like this site was connected to your WordPress.com account via Jetpack at some point, and that connection was lingering despite Jetpack being uninstalled. I’ve just manually removed that lingering connection for you, so the site is no longer connected to your WordPress.com account.
To access that site going forward, you’ll want to log into its WP-Admin dashboard using credentials that the website admin provides.

That is great, thank you so much. I can confirm the connection is no longer active. Have a good one.
