How do I delete my website when I have no access to the cancellation e-mail?
-
We are looking to delete our schools website but we believe the e-mail address that the site is linked to is that of the old head teacher who has since left the school, consequently when we follow the process of deletion and an e-mail is sent asking us to confirm we wish to do this, we can’t access it. How can we delete the site without this access?

Hi there,
You will be unable to delete the site without access to the email. You have to update the email address to the one you have access to. Then you should be able to delete the site with the confirmation email received at to your updated email account. The instructions to update your email ID is here. If for some reason, you are unable to update the email ID then, I would suggest you change your site as private. Changing the site to private would ensure that the general public can’t access the site. The instructions on how to do this are here.
