How do I delete my WordPress account?

  I am trying to delete my WordPress account. I do not want it tied to my email at all.

  WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted, but there are options to inactivate your account if that is what you decide you really want to do.

  To disassociate your email with the WordPress account, you can go into your account settings and change the email address on the account. You can create a throwaway email or use any active email address you already have.
