How do i delete or modify my forums answer

Sometimes it happens, that i write my answer in a very clumsy way, while reading my answer, i get to realize that there are some mistakes in the answer, sometimes it happen too, due to slow internet connection i press submit button twice or thrice, resulting into three duplicate answers, but there is no way to modify it.
So can you please suggest me is there any way to do it ??

Hi @brotskytv – There is no way to change a forum answer or delete a forum reply and that is on purpose. If you need to correct or update information you’ve left in a reply, create and submit a new reply with the correction on the same forum discussion.
If other answers have been given in the meantime, you can reference your previous forum reply by copying/pasting the link in the time stamp under the word “Member” next to your username in the thread. Like the one under your above post https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-do-i-delete-or-modify-my-forums-answer?replies=1#post-2502042
Please note that everyone sees the time stamp itself in their own timezone. I currently see that at Nov 20, 2015, 6:38 AM
