How do I delete site if I can't get the verification email?

    I have moved my site from wordpress.com to wordpress .org. Having both the old site at wchpto.wordpress.com and the new site at wchpto.org is causing problems. I need to delete the old site. Problem is that the registration email for the old site on wordpress.com is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I submitted change a long time ago (to change to (email visible only to moderators and staff)) and it has been pending forever. I no longer have the wchepto.org domain so the verification to delete email goes into the ether. I effectively cannot delete the old site because 1) I can’t get the email change to go through and 2) I can’t get the verification to delete email at the email address that no longer exists. HELP. Please.

    Hi there,

    Since you are writing as the logged-in account owner of that blog, I can go ahead and delete that blog for you. If you could just explicitly provide the blog name that you want deleted (as in [blogname].wordpress.com) and that you understand that once a blog is deleted it cannot be retrieved, I can take care of that for you!

    Also, please be aware that since we don’t recycle blog names, you also will not be able to use this blog name again at any point in the future. As long as you’re OK with that, we can proceed!
