how do I delete the appearance of date

Hi everyone
I wanted to ask how I delete the appearance of date. Whenever I post a new article, the date when the article was published is also shown as its normal in wordpress or any other blogsite. But can this be deleted?
Thank you

We cannot change the post permalink structure on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. All post URLs do contain the date. Static pages sit outside the chronological structure of a blog; so most don’t display the publication date but a few do. The date cannot be deleted from the permalink by CSS editing. If you do not wish visitors to see the date on the post itself then you can choose to use a theme that does not include the date.

This site, http://imdadfoundation.wordpress.com/ , is showing up with absolutely no CSS, which indicates you may have selected “start from scratch” on the CSS edit page and then added nothing to the CSS edit window.
Was that your intention? The date can be hidden from the post area with CSS, but as Timethief says, it will always appear in the post permalink URL.
