Hi Gordon – Do you mean that you don’t want any image to show with your post when you share it on Facebook? If so, I’m afraid it’s not possible – Facebook will always display some sort of image with a shared post. If you want to control what image is shown, try setting a “Featured Image” for each post, as described here:

Here is the simple answer: Go to SETTINGS….then to GENERAL and you will see a box that addresses the issue of changin your blog picture. But, you can’t say that, can you. Nope, you have to send me off on a trail that doesn’t take me anywhere. You make it so complicated. I have over 30 hours trying to figure this out and I just found the answer and your solution would have taken up another 30 hours wandering around…. the next time someone writes and says how do I get the picture changed on my posts…the answer is…. now remember and write this down…go to settings, then general, then to the box on the right side of the page that lets you CHANGE the picture… That is all I needed, not jump throught this window, follow these bread crumbs, read these articles, etc. You must be a technical writer because every technical writer I’ve ever met can’t write anything simple. They have a propensity for mucking things up.

Sorry I was a bit angry there. I run into situations like this a lot lately where the information being given to me is about as clear as a mud pie would be. I understand you misunderstood. I was struggling to explain it in the first place. I then found a forum where I think the same question was asked that was never really answered. I just got lucky when I found the place I was looking for. I had obviously been there before but didn’t remember. Far too often technical writers leave out that all important step between where you are at and where you need to go opting to do so because they expect you to know it. Well, I did’t and I spent a whole lot of time looking for the answer so by the time I managed to tag in with you I was roaring. Thanks again for your help because it made me angry and the anger fored me to go back in and find the answer. All in all that is an okay think I think. … Have a great day and please accept my apology for revealing my anger to you. I wasn’t mad at you just circumstanes.
