How do I delete the Home post that's on the blog in the beginning?

    I tried to remove the Home post that’s on the blog in the beginning to the trash bin and after that I removed it permanently, but it’s still visible on my blog. I want to delete is because I don’t want a post without content on my blog and because I want to make a HOME PAGE, not a post. Is there anyone who can help me with that?
