How do I delete the message that appears by clicking on the menu button?

  On my blog’s public first page there is a menu button on the top right corner. By clicking on it I get a black window with a crazy message (“I love you! I love you! etc.”). I think I might have typed that in years ago when I first created the account. But now I’d like to use the account to host and manage my blog. How do I remove that crazy message on top of my blog? I cannot find any way to do it (from the Dashboard etc.).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there,
  Please try this: go to Dashboard > Pages > Home. Hover over the Home page to see Edit and Quick Edit options. Click on either edit option and delete the text that appears in the title bar other than “Home”, then update the page.

  Thanks, mindelson! I’ve tried to do that, but I have no “Home” page listed, the only page there seems to be is the “About” one. :(

  Hi filcon,

  I took a look on your site and don’t see that message anywhere. Did you find where it was located? Based on the theme you are using I’m guessing it was in a widget which you can access under Appearance then Widgets.

  Let me know if you still need help.

  Thanks, sandymcfadden! The message has misteriously gone now! I didn’t find anything under Appearance>Widgets, but the crazy message is now gone, misteriously. Didn’t do anything myself, I don’t think, but I very happy nonetheless. Thanks, all, for your messages!!

  @filcon: You’re welcome! Thanks for the good news!

  @sandymcfadden: The menu for the Tonal theme is a little square with three horizontal lines on the top right corner of the page (it isn’t a widget). I’m curious to know what happened to resolve the issue but am glad it worked out! =)

  I wish I could tell you, mindelson. But I haven’t the slimmest idea. The best guess I can come up with is that it might have sorted itself out merely in virtue of my switching back and forth from one theme to another a couple of times. Pretty desperate guess, as you can see! :)

  Thanks @mindelson,

  I realize that is the menu icon, but included in the menu drop down are three widget areas. I thought maybe there was a text widget in one of them which was displaying when @filcon clicked that menu icon.
