How do I delete the permalink page and make my home page the default page again

    I’m trying to direct traffic to my home page from my Google ad words campaign, my Google plus page, and various other places; however, the page that everything gets redirected to is a page that has “permalink” on it. I used to have a header on it, but now even that is gone. I cannot find a page that is associated with the permalink page. What gives with the permalink? I cannot change it.
