how do I delete the portfolio option from my website

  I don’t want the portfolio option to show up among the pages on my website. I don’t even want it in my admin menu. How do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The Portfolio option is already disabled on your site, http://leeccentriques.wordpress.com/, and I don’t see that option in either the My Sites or WP-Admin menu. Where are you still seeing it?

  I figured it out! I hid it from my menu using Customize > Menus

  At least it doesn’t show up on my website this way. Still shows up in the admin menu, but that’s alright I guess.

  Hi there,

  If you still want to hide it from your admin panel as well, you can go to
  My Sites > Settings > Writing > Toggle off the portfolio projects option.

  I found the option still shows up for sites on our servers. But folks can ignore that admin option.

  Yeah, sorry about that. We don’t disable those options, but you can just ignore them or focus on using wordpress.com/post and wordpress.com/page . Cheers!
