how do i delete the wordpress ad at bottom of my site?
Also, why does it say “NOTHING FOUND” and the “Archive stuff at the right? I’d like to get rid of all of that info and can’t figure out how to clear it.

    Hi there,

It looks like you have the Premium bundle purchase for sarahgentrydotnet.wordpress.com (and the custom domain sarahgentry.net), which means that you will have no ads showing up on your site.

If you’re referring to a different site, you will need to purchase the no-ads upgrade.

If you still see ads now, please take a screenshot of one of the ads, since it could be caused by a browser extension, and it would be helpful for me to see it. You can upload it to your media library.

    Take a Screenshot

As far as your site’s appearance, you will need to set up a home/front page. This document will explain how to do that:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

You can also modify your widgets to change what shows up in the sidebar:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/

If you want nothing in the sidebar, just add an empty text widget.

Here is a screen shot of my web-site when I open it.
It’s also uploaded on to my media library.

I don’t know how to get rid of the “NOTHING FOUND” text and the “Archive” and “Beta” text on the right side. Could you please tell me how to get rid of that? Thanks!

I don’t see an ad on your screenshot.

To fix the nothing found text and the sidebar text (Archive and Meta), please refer to the instructions in my last reply.

Ok, I must be missing something….I still have the Archive and Meta on the right sidebar and cannot remove them. They were never dragged as a widget into the sidebar. My sidebar is empty when I go to Widgets. There is also something under my homepage for people to leave comments. How do I get rid of that? I want my home page to be very simple with just my artwork picture and the menu.

Also, there is still a black bar at the bottom of my page that has the WordPress ad that says “Blog at WordPress.com. Customized Forever Theme”

If you want to remove the content in the sidebar, add an empty text widget to the sidebar. The content you are seeing there is the default content we include so that something shows up there.

To disable comments, please see the instructions here:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

Note that if you turn off comments for the entire site, this will work only for posts/pages you create in the future, so you will need to turn off comments individually on pre-existing content.

Finally the bar at the bottom that mentions WordPress.com and the theme is required as part of our Terms of Service, so it cannot be removed.

The images are not coming up one one of my pages. I have tried to update and refresh the page and the images are there. But, when I go on as a visitor to my web-site and look under my “Abstracts” page I get this message: Hi there. You seem to be lost.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Perhaps it was there but now it’s gone. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?

My other pages are fine and are loading images properly. Please advise

You appear to have created a few Abstracts pages and then deleted them, but you had created the menu with a link to an older page. That caused the menu link to go to a dead link. I’ve updated that for you, so your menu now works properly and directs people to the correct Abstracts page.
