How do I delete this text?
-
Hello everyone!
Hope I’m posting this in the right forum… I have a wordpress.com blog and I need to delete something I wrote on it: frankonline.wordpress.com
It’s just the short text on the right. How do I delete it? I tried searching on every blog setting but I can’t find how to delete it.

If I am not mistaken, you head to your Dashboard = > Design = > Widgets and it should be there for you to edit on the right hand side. If however, that theme gets the information from your blog description, you need to head to your Dashboard => Settings and change it there.

If your referring to removing “WordPress” out of the URL
there is no setting for that here on wp.com….What you can do though is buy the domain mapping for $15
and that way you won’t have “WordPress” in your URL…So bottom line is if you choose not to upgrade then
the “WordPress” will Be Part of the URLTeck

Thanks trent! It was a widget and I deleted it and the text disappeard. I just need to first decide what I’ll blog about before I write a description :)

My mistake gamehq. I should have been clearer about what I wanted to delete gamehq. The way I wrote it it looks like I want to delete something from the url.
