How do I delete two blogs so I can make one new one?
-
I have two blogs. I want to collapse them into one with a completely different name with my own domain name. I have copied all my posts to a Word document so that I can re post under my own name. I cannot figure out how to do this.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Microsoft Word is not a web compliant program. It is a word processing program only. What you need to do is described here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs

Thank you. Word is simply a place to which I copied the content so I wouldn’t have to re-invent it. I want to keep the posts. I would also be happy to change the name of the blog and get a personal domain name but I can’t seem to figure that one out either. I am rather a novice at blogging. Thanks.

Please forget about WORD because it’s not helpful in this situation at all. To move your content from one blog to another your content from one blog must be exported into an XML file, and then that file must be placed on your desktop, and lastly, it must be imported into the second blog. How to do that is described here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs

Please do NOT delete any blogs as you do not know what you are doing and as deleting a blog URL is permanent and irreversible.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/Alternatively, to change blog visibility to private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3 . See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
