How do I delete unwanted default text from my header?

  Searching works well.

  For the Motion theme, that text is shown when there’s no widget defined for the “Header” area, on the Appearance &rarr: Widgets page on your dashboard. If you drag and drop a widget there, the text will be replaced by that widget’s contents.
