how do I designate a new page to be post page?
-
I made front page static; named new page to be ‘writing life’ for posts; but where are the posts I’ve already done? how to make them appear on ‘writing life’? I see them if I click on ‘posts’ or ‘add new’ but they do not otherwise show up anywhere . . .
when I posted before, that page had no name; it just came up for the posts . . . how do I actually get new page to be the post page????
thanks for help . . . I”m trying to be sophisticated here but not quite making it!!!

Hi there!
To designate a page called “Writing Life” as your blog page, first create that page as a blank page (and publish it). Then go to your dashboard and go to Settings > Reading.
For the “Front page displays” option on the Readings settings page, choose your page “Writing Life” as your posts page, and Save Changes at the bottom.
