How Do I Disable a Blog?

Hello:
Our company would like to disable our previous blog, ‘ovationhair.wordpress.com’. We do not post to this blog, so comments to posts are left unresponded to. Our current blog address is ‘blog.ovationhair.com’, which we want to keep active. It is possible the ‘ovationhair.wordpress.com’ blog is the parent blog. Please know we are not asking to delete the blog, but simply to disable it. Please advise and thank you for your time.

Howdy.
You might consider setting your WordPress.com blog to private. Here’s some info on how to do that.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
That way you won’t be deleting it, but it won’t be visible to anyone.
If you’d like to leave the blog visible, but simply don’t want people commenting, you could disable comments on the existing posts.
