How do I disable an old blog without deleting it permanently?

  I have an old blog: plaiddesigns.wordpress.com. I imported the content to my website: plaid-design.com. I would now like to remove the original blog content from the web so that people cannot come across it in searches. I only want them to be able to find my website. How do I proceed?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can set your WordPress.com site to be private. That won’t delete the site, but it will ensure no one can find it unless and until you make it public again.

  To do so, go to your Dashboard under Settings > Reading.
