How do I disable, globally, AMP?
-
I had a look at AMP and didn’t like what I saw. Specifically, I saw the word ‘Google’ (doing censorship) together with the word ‘cache’. I get the ad. My blog loads faster etc.. I don’t care.
A website I found a few minutes ago gave me the usually geekish (unfriendly, too limited) guide on how to remove AMP. I want a global setting. I see that I can remove AMP from each post. I have just over 700 on my blog. The website I found directed me to my settings and told me to find installed plugins. I see no such tab or area. Maybe it’s just me. Could someone clue me in here? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Did you search form AMP in the support? You’ll find all info at https://en.support.wordpress.com/amp-accelerated-mobile-pages/

Yes, I searched. The search returned nothing. I don’t want this conversation. The site I just visited, via your link, spouts jargon. Don’t reply to me if you don’t mind. I want to turn this thing off. Is that a sin? (a rhetorical question)

All: I found the setting. I have zero need for the jargon-laden website the above user directed me to. The instruction in his (or…) above post (settings > traffic) was sufficient.
Case closed.

The page our volunteer directed you to is the support page for this feature, and includes the instructions on how to disable this feature.

@staartmees is a volunteer who give up some of their free time to help users like you in this forum. The least you can do is to be courteous when they do that.
I suggest you take a moment to read through the community standards for this forum before you post here again:
