How do I disable https
-
I cannot get rid of security warnings on my site bigpub8.wordpress. I have followed the details in a FAQ but it makes no difference. All my other blogs use http but bigpub8 uses https. How can I disable https?

You can disable the https connection for your account at Users > Personal settings in your Dashboard. The security warnings shouldn’t be appearing though.
If you are seeing specific errors there can you let us know what they are so that we can sort them out. Thanks!

The box against Browser Connection is not ticked and that is the only place I can see https mentioned.

If it’s unchecked, then there’s nothing on our end to force the https.
What do you see when you go to just http://bigpub8.wordpress.com/ ?

No security warnings but I still cannot get rid of the ‘s’ so next time I access the site the security warning is back!

If you logout of WordPress.com, what do you see when you go to http://bigpub8.wordpress.com/ ?

By accessing with http etc and then adding to favourites the security warning has gone. I should have thought of that. Thank you for your help.
