how do I *disable* ‘Live Preview’ when editing my blog?

I somehow enabled Live Preview. It was NOT already enabled as far as I can tell. Now editing my site is very tedious as after every single keystroke it updates the preview and causes a very annoying lag. How do I disable it?? Thanks!

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.
WordPress doesn’t have any feature called “Live Preview” included, so I can only assume that’s being added to your site via a plugin, in which case your best option is to contact support for that plugin directly.

Please follow the steps on that page to fix the connection, or contact Jetpack support directly should you need more help with that.

Isn’t Jetpack that add-on that “speeds up” WP? I deleted it. It tried to blacklist my own IP and I had to restore a DB backup. :(

You are most likely referring to the Lazy loading feature that speeds up image loading for your site, which in terms speeds up your site:
