How do I disable plug-ins?
-
I’m trying to move my blog to a Managed WordPress site but I keep getting an error message. I was told I need to disable all the plug-ins first, as I keep getting error messages.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Plugins cannot be disabled on WordPressdotcom sites.
If you are moving from WordPressdotcom to a self-hosted site, you’ll want to check out this guide: https://move.wordpress.com/
Let us know if you need more help with that.

Thanks for your message. I signed up with a Managed WordPress site with Go Daddy, but they have said I need to disable to plug-ins to move the website.
However, whenever I click on “next” I receive another verification code as well as the Invalid WordPress admin username or password message.
I didn’t realise it would be such a hassle. Surely, I’m not the only one who has had these problems.

Where is this “next” button you mention? It sounds to me like you might be trying to use a utility that GoDaddy provides, but you need to export/import your content according to the guide I pointed you to at https://move.wordpress.com/ and your WordPressdotcom site needs to remain active and public in order for your media files to transfer over.
If you are still having a problem with this you are welcome to add the MODLOOK tag to the Tags section of this forum thread sidebar to receive Staff assistance.
