How do I disable slideshow in Sight theme?
-
I’ve found tutorials that mention Appearance > Theme Options, but I don’t have that option. I’ve also seen CSS solutions, but I have no access to CSS. Is this a wordpress.com thing? (We are not .org)
Also, how do I get site-specific support? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do not rely on any tutorials for WordPress.ORG installs you find online. They do not apply to WordPress.COM theme versions.
This is the link to your detailed theme description page. https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sight/
Featured Slider
Sight displays up to 30 of your latest sticky posts that have featured images in a prominent slider on the blog page. To add a post to the slider, mark it as sticky and give it a featured image. How do I disable slideshow in Sight theme
Do not do what’s required to enable the slider and one will not appear.

Also, how do I get site-specific support?
There is no phone support here. All support docs are at http://support.wordpress.com
Type help getting support into the searchbox and click
https://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=help+getting+support
Results https://en.support.wordpress.com/help-support-options/In addition to support options linked to above we can email
help@wordpress.com
or
support@wordpress.comBut it takes longer than getting an answer to the peer support forum does, here is where the majority of all question are answered by Volunteers. I suggest you type all your details including the relevant URLs here please so we can get started helping you.

Yes, I did remove sticky and featured image. The stories still appear in a slideshow, only without images.
