How do I disable the title from showing on the page
-
That is, I don’t want it to say ‘Home’ at the top of my home page. https://vashonseedproject.wordpress.com/

I see that I can delete the characters when I am in the heading block, but then my page is untitled. I want to maintain the name of the page as “Home.” I just don’t want “Home” to show as a header at the top of the page. I can’t see where I can just suppress (or “disable”) the title as I would be able to do, e.g., in a wordpress.org website.

Hi there,
The only way to prevent a page title from displaying is to hide it using custom CSS code, and that requires our Premium Plan.
I can’t see where I can just suppress (or “disable”) the title as I would be able to do, e.g., in a wordpress.org website.
This is not a standard feature on WordPress.org either. If you had a WordPress.org site where this was an option, that option was most likely being added by the theme you were using on that site. I don’t know of any themes we offer on WordPress.com that has an option like that.
