How do I Disassociate my domain from wordpress.com so I can upload a new theme?

  I have bought a custom wordpress theme but have no idea how to upload it. I’m assuming I need to disassociate my jessesmithphotography.com domain name with wordpress.com but I have no idea how to do that. I want to upload the theme into wordpress.org, I think you can do it there right?

  If you already have WordPress installed on your hosting provider, you can direct your domain to it following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers
