How do I discontinue the site redirect?

I have converted from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and have changed the nameservers back to point to the hosted site and discontinued the domain mapping on the wordpress.com blog site but the domain is still being intercepted and redirected to the wordpress.com site. What am I missing here? I don’t want to delete the old site yet but I can’t find anything in the menus to change to prevent the redirect. I know the new wordpress.org site is installed correctly on my hosted site because I am able to log into the back end and navigate the control panel but when I click the link to view blog it sends me to the old site. This is beginning to drive me crazy…

Yep it worked finally after about 24 hours, had been flushing my cache to no avail and had been 5 hours sine I updated my name servers…. just needed to me more patient I guess. Thanks for the reply!
