How do I display HTML code for others to copy/paste on my blog?

  Hello there!

  I have created three badges on:

  https://bookreviewdirectory.wordpress.com/join-the-list/badges-for-bloggers/

  What I want to do is to display the badge HTML code (for my members to copy/paste into their own text widgets), but whenever I try to do that, the code comes out funny whenever I update the page. It adds a few letters, and it also changes the quotation marks, which makes the code not work.

  Here is the code I have (that I know works):

  And here is the code when I update the page:

  <img src=”https://bookreviewdirectory.files.wordpress.com/2015/03/10book-115252_640.jpg”>

  Any help you can offer would be great. I’m not sure why the code is being altered. Thank you.
