How do I display only summaries of my posts on my home page, rather than the whole post

    Hello,

    I’ve looked around in all the settings I can think of to achieve this without success.
    Ideally what I’d like is to display, on my home page, the full post of my latest post, but only summaries (including associated photos) of older posts.

    Hey Steve,

    The best way to accomplish this is to use the More Tag to split your content:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

    This will allow you to break your content up so that readers will need to click on the title to see the full post.

    Regarding having the latest post show the full post content, you would need to manually do that by leaving out the More Tag for the latest post and inserting it later when another post has been published. Does that make sense?
