How do I display text in box that changes DAILY?

Dictionary.com has a box on a page where the text changes daily. (They use it for word definition of the day.)
The text is NOT added to a page and left there like regular posts.
The old text is removed, and new text is added to the same box on a public page every day.
Additionally, I’d like to just upload a spreadsheet of data and have the day’s text displayed in the page, instead of fiddling with a scheduler for each day of text.
Lastly, I’d like to save the published data, and have all published data re-displayed in a paid member’s section (Paid Membership Pro plugin?) for reference material. So that reference section would need a search feature, and a way to organize the data. I could add organization tags to a field in the spreadsheet.
This is what I want for a site I’m going to create.
What plugin(s) do you recommend I use to handle the daily text box change, and handling the data after publishing?

By the way, I do NOT intend to build a dictionary, although some of the data might be displayed as definitions. I want to display smidgens of random facts in a text box. Thank you.
