How do I edit CSS with Custom Design option?
-
I have purchased the Custom Design upgrade and want to work with my CSS. At some juncture I was able to add a few lines, but now when I return to the same screen, I do not seem to have edit privileges (i.e., I can see the lines of code that I wrote but I cannot edit it).
What am I missing?
Thank you!

Hi there, I checked your Custom CSS and see a number of revisions on the 14th and 15th, so it appears it is again working for you.
When things in the dashboard start to not work for you, the first thing I always suggest is to log out of WordPress and clear your browser cache and cookies and then try again. Many times that will get you rolling again.
Let us know if you have any further questions or problems.

Dear The Sacred Path…
Thank you for following up and for the good advice. What I found was that I could not edit the custom CSS code with IE10 (it actually created a black background), but could do so in Chrome (and Firefox). The Chrome element inspector (which I found through a forum post) is really terrific for someone as inexperienced as I am. I was able to simply cut n’ paste the code snippet I needed and then clean it up in the custom CSS.
Again, thank you…

Just wanted to add a quick note to say that I tested the WordPress.com CSS editor with IE10 on Windows 8 and it worked in my test, and I haven’t seen any other similar reports from other users. I see that you’re using another browser since you were having trouble with IE10 —that works if you’re happy with that as a solution.
