How do I edit DNS?

I misspelled my domain name when I first registered. Shortly afterwards, I noticed the mistake. There seems to be no way to change a domain name, so I cancelled the registration & registered the corrected domain name. Now I’m being told “DNS needs to be updated.” I clicked on the link, but I have no earthly idea what to do. The tutorial is no help either because I don’t know what any of this means. Please help! Speaking to a person would help a lot, so is there a help line to call?
Yes, I have checked and neither domain appears to be a registered url. Also, all of this began a few hours ago so I am still within my 48 hour window to cancel. Please help soon so this window does not close.

I thought this was going to be e-mailed to wordpress customer support, not a forum. So to help you guys help me, this is what the update DNS link opens. As I said before, I just started this domain through wordpress so I don’t know who the domain registrar is. Really, all of this is gibberish to me!!
